Dr. Shafi oversee the payer’s clinical affairs, with special focus on youth behavioral health and initiatives aimed at improving colorectal cancer screenings and maternal health outcomes, according to a July 13 news release.
She is an obstetrician-gynecologist by training and previously served as deputy chief medical officer at Mass General Brigham Health Plan.
