The BCBS Massachusetts board of directors selected Ms. Iselin after a monthslong national search, according to an Aug. 30 news release. She is returning to the payer after eight years, having previously held leadership roles with the company as well as with the BCBS Massachusetts Foundation.
Ms. Iselin also previously held senior leadership positions at Florida Blue and Optum and in the Massachusetts government.
Ms. Iselin will begin with the company Dec. 5 before assuming her new role Jan. 1, according to the release.
