Mr. Merritt will lead the association’s advocacy efforts at the state and federal level, including lobbying, political affairs, legislative and regulatory development, coalitions and industry partnerships, according to a Sept. 19 news release.
He joins BCBS from AHIP, where he currently leads public affairs and strategic initiatives.
