Alameda Alliance for Health CEO to retire

Alameda Alliance for Health CEO Scott Coffin is retiring, effective May 31, 2023.

Mr. Coffin has been lead executive of the nonprofit since 2015. He previously served as executive director of Anthem Blue Cross’ Northern Region Medicaid Health Plan across 18 California counties, according to a Nov. 3 news release.

Alliance is a San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit managed care plan that serves more than 330,000 Alameda County residents. The organization is now searching for a new CEO.

“Completing the turnaround of the Alliance was a real team effort, and every team member that works for the Alliance shares in this accomplishment,” Mr. Coffin said. “I am grateful to have worked with so many dedicated and talented staff, for the exceptional trust from my Board of Governors, and to my loyal providers that work diligently to ensure that our members experience the best quality of service.”
