Caroline Goldzweig, MD, and Betsy Seaton joined the board of directors for Premera — parent company of Premera Blue Cross — according to an Oct. 6 news release.
Dr. Goldzweig is the vice president and chief medical officer for the Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Network. Ms. Seaton is a seasoned board leader with experience on the board of Umpqua Bank. She recently retired as president and CEO at Saltchuk Aviation.
“The future of healthcare requires both vision and experience,” said Board Chair Brad Fluegel. “By adding Caroline and Betsy to our board, we’re strengthening the leadership needed at Premera to meet today’s challenges and seize tomorrow’s opportunities.”
