Where Centene has some of its largest government contracts

Centene is the largest Medicaid managed care organization, serving 15.7 million low-income members nationwide. According to federal policy publication ExecutiveGov, these are some of the company’s largest government contracts with details publicly available:

  1. TRICARE: $17.7 billion
  2. Texas Medicaid: $10 billion
  3. Pennsylvania Medicaid: $7 billion
  4. Nebraska Medicaid: $5 billion
  5. Missouri Department of Corrections: $1.4 billion
  6. Georgia Department of Corrections: $536.5 million

The contract amounts are how much each contract is worth in total and is not indicative of the value of the portion awarded only to Centene.
