UnitedHealthcare, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health strike new deal

UnitedHealthcare and Tacoma, Wash.-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health have reached a new multi-year contract.

All UnitedHealthcare-insured patients will continue to have access to all of VMFH’s hospitals, clinics and providers, according to the health system’s website. 

“This is a win for our patients who deserve access to high-quality, high-value health care services close to home, and we appreciate their patience as we have worked through this process,” VMFH said.
