UnitedHealthcare, U of Vermont Health extend contract through end of 2023

UnitedHealthcare and Burlington-based University of Vermont Health Network have reached an agreement to extend their current contract agreement through Dec. 31, avoiding a split set to take effect April 1.

According to a news release shared with Becker’s, the two organizations are still continuing work on reaching a long-term contract agreement. 

The contract negotiations affect more than 2,600 individual and group UnitedHealthcare commercial members in Vermont and New York. Medicaid and Medicare Advantage members are not affected.
