University of Miami Health System has reached a multi-year agreement with UnitedHealthcare to maintain in-network access.
Under the agreement, UHealth’s hospitals, facilities and physicians will remain in network for UnitedHealthcare’s employer-sponsored plans, its Florida Medicaid plan and its ACA plans.
A separate contract covers UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Advantage Preferred Care Network plan, with in-network access extended to Dec. 31 after an original deadline of Aug. 31. UHealth is already out of network for UnitedHealthcare’s other MA plans.
