UnitedHealthcare, Phoenix Children’s at impasse as contract end date nears

Phoenix Children’s will go out of network with UnitedHealthcare on June 1 if the sides are unable to reach an agreement on a new contract.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Phoenix Children’s Medical Group, Phoenix Children’s pediatrics and urgent care center locations will be out of network with the payer if a new contract is not reached, according to a May 1 news release from the health system.  

The sides are continuing to work on an agreement, according to the release.
