The split would affect employer-sponsored and individual plans, as well as Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans, according to a June 2 post on UnitedHealthcare’s website.

New York’s cooling off requirements required that those enrolled in UnitedHealthcare fully insured commercial plans and Medicaid plans will have access through Aug. 31, according to the post. The cooling off period does not apply to self-insured commercial plans, dual special needs plans or Medicare Advantage plans.
