Sunshine Health, Johns Hopkins All Children’s strike value-based care agreement

Centene subsidiary Sunshine Health and St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Johns Hopkins All Children’s Care Network have entered into a two-year, value-based care agreement.

The deal, building on their existing relationship, provides access to care for 56,000 Sunshine Health Medicaid members, according to a May 16 Sunshine news release. 

Under the agreement, more than 40 practices composed of 160 primary care providers that are a part of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s clinically integrated network can earn additional reimbursement for improving health outcomes and engaging Sunshine’s members in preventive and maintenance care, according to the release.
