Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System has reached a verbal agreement to remain in network with Cambia Health Solutions’ Regence BlueShield.

The insurer said negotiations spanned three Washington counties, and the organizations are formalizing the terms in writing.

MultiCare originally went out of network with Regence May 10. While the system told Becker’s June 2 that it could not share the length of time the new contract would cover, the agreement will be retroactive to May 10.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
