Regence BlueShield, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health partner on accountable health network

Regence BlueShield and Seattle-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health are partnering to launch an accountable health network Jan. 1 they say will provide “affordable, accessible and high-quality care to patients across the Puget Sound region.”

Physicians who are part of the network will operate under a value-based care model, according to a Dec. 14 Regence news release. 

The network’s Washington hospitals are:

  • Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle 
  • St. Anne Hospital in Burien 
  • St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor
  • St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood  
  • St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw 
  • St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way 
  • St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma  
  • St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale
