Regence BlueShield, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health partner on accountable health network

Regence BlueShield and Seattle-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health are partnering to launch an accountable health network Jan. 1 they say will provide “affordable, accessible and high-quality care to patients across the Puget Sound region.”

Physicians who are part of the network will operate under a value-based care model, according to a Dec. 14 Regence news release.

The network’s Washington hospitals are:

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle
St. Anne Hospital in Burien
St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor
St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood
St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw
St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way
St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma
St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale
