According to a Dec. 22 news release, the agreement does not include Medicare Advantage members. Regence BlueShield and the clinics’ agreement for Medicare Advantage members expired Dec. 5.
The payer and providers are still negotiating a contract for Medicare Advantage members, Regence BlueShield said.
“We are disappointed the negotiations ultimately created uncertainty for our members and customers, particularly during the tripledemic of COVID-19, RSV and the flu,” Regence BlueShield said in the release.
