Ohio awards D-SNP contracts to 4 payers

Ohio has awarded managed care contracts to four insurers to serve residents dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare.

Starting in 2026, Anthem BCBS, Centene’s Buckeye Health Plan, CareSource, and Molina Healthcare will begin administering coverage for Ohio’s Next Generation MyCare program, according to a Nov. 1 news release.

MyCare Ohio currently serves 150,000 people, and 250,000 state residents are eligible for the program.
