New Mexico is seeking contract proposals from payers to deliver services to the state's 969,093 Medicaid members.
Managed care organizations work with the state's Medicaid program to provide physical and behavioral health and long-term care services, according to an Oct. 3 news release.
The current contract with BCBS of New Mexico, Presbyterian Health Plan and Western Sky Community Care is set to expire at the end of 2023. In 2024, the program will be rebranded to Turquoise Care and will begin operation with the chosen payers.
