The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has selected 32 health plans to administer health benefits for U.S. Postal Service employees and their families.
Collectively, the selected plans will provide coverage to 1.9 million people beginning in 2025, according to a March 12 news release.
The health plans represent a mix of fee-for-service plans and health maintenance organizations, and some payers had multiple health plans selected.
Payers selected for the USPS contract:

- BCBS network
- CareFirst BCBS
- Capital Health Plan
- Health Alliance Plan of Michigan
- HealthPartners
- Hawaii Medical Service Association (BCBS)
- Independent Health
- Kaiser Permanente
- Medical Mutual of Ohio
- TakeCare (Guam)
- Triple-S Salud (Puerto Rico)
- UnitedHealthcare
- UPMC Health Plan
