CareSource and Houston-based Legacy Community Health’s joint venture, dubbed CareSource Bayou Health, is looking to serve Harris and Jefferson County residents who are part of the State of Texas Access Reform managed care program and Children’s Health Insurance Program, according to a Sept. 13 news release.
CareSource President and CEO Erhardt Preitauer told the Dayton Daily News the organization expects to hear from the state of Texas whether it will be awarded contracts by late 2023 or early 2024.
