The health system is back in network with BlueCare Tennessee, TennCare Select, CoverKids and Dual Special Needs plans, according to a Feb. 8 Methodist Le Bonheur news release shared with Becker’s. The changes are effective immediately.
The sides are continuing to negotiate a new contract regarding the insurer’s employer-based and marketplace plans, according to the release.
Methodist went out of network with BCBS Tennessee after the sides were unable to agree to new contracts by Dec. 31. Those affected by the split include about 14,000 people covered by two city of Memphis employer-sponsored plans.
