BCBS Oklahoma, Ascension St. John ink agreement

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma and Tulsa, Okla.-based Ascension St. John have reached a new contract agreement to keep BCBS members in-network at seven Oklahoma hospitals and medical centers.

The agreement was effective Feb. 1, according to a release shared with Becker’s Feb. 21.

“Our agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma offers security for thousands of Oklahomans who look to Ascension St. John as their trusted healthcare provider,” Jeffrey Nowlin, Ascension St. John CEO, said in the release.
