About 30 percent of BCBS Michigan’s total Medicare Advantage membership now receive services from physicians in full-risk reimbursement arrangements, according to a Dec. 14 news release shared with Becker’s.
BCBS Michigan said these arrangements accelerate its efforts to “evolve reimbursement away from the traditional fee-for-service model.”
The six physician groups are:
- Ann Arbor-based HVPA by Village MD
- Rochester-based MedNetOne Health Solutions
- Sylvan Lake-based Oakland Physician Network Services
- Bingham Farms-based United Physicians
- Midland-based Great Lakes Physician Organization
- Grand Rapids-based Answer Health
