Anthem and Glendale-based Ascension launched a joint health plan on the state’s ACA marketplace in 2021, which gave Anthem members in-network access to Ascension’s facilities throughout Wisconsin.
The latest agreement accelerates the use of value-based payment models and will provide over one million Anthem members continued access to Ascension’s 17 hospitals, more than 1,100 physicians and specialists, and 100 other facilities across the state, according to an Aug. 2 news release.
