The new benefit plan, MI Coordinated Health, will launch in January 2026 in some counties, and expand statewide in 2027, according to an Oct. 9 news release from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
These nine insurers were awarded contracts:
- Upper Peninsula Health Plan
- Aetna Better Health of Michigan
- Meridian Health Plan of Michigan (Centene)
- Molina Healthcare of Michigan
- UnitedHealthcare Community Plan
- HAP CareSource
- AmeriHealth Michigan
- Priority Health Choice
- Humana Medical Plan of Michigan
