The selected payers include Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, Healthy Blue, Humana and Louisiana Healthcare Connections.
The contracts, which go into effect later this year, span three years and offer the option to be renewed. Collectively, the plans will serve 1.6 million beneficiaries.
Contracts will be formally awarded after a 14-day protest period ends Feb. 25.
