BCBS Texas, Medical City Healthcare strike new deal ahead of deadline

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas and Dallas-based Medical City Healthcare reached an agreement after months of negotiations over care costs, The Dallas Morning News reported March 31.

The one-year agreement avoids a contract split that was set to take effect April 1, according to the report.   

Medical City is a division of Nashville, Tenn.-basec HCA Healthcare.
