Cindy Beane has led West Virginia’s Medicaid agency since 2014, according to a March 15 West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources news release
Under Ms. Beane’s direction, West Virginia Medicaid received the 2022 Medicaid Innovation Award from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the National Academy for State Health Policy for providing specialized managed care for youths in foster care, according to the release.
