According to a news release shared with Becker’s Dec. 7, services will now be available to Blue Shield of California members in Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside counties, in addition to Orange County.
DispatchHealth offers in-home, in-person care. More than half of the calls to the service come after 5 p.m., when most primary care options are closed, according to the news release.
DispatchHealth has received investments from several payers, including UnitedHealth Group’s Optum, Blue Shield of California and Humana.
