Highmark, Kaleida Health sign long-term network contract

Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York and Buffalo-based Kaleida Health have signed a long-term agreement to allow Highmark’s members to have in-network access to Kaleida’s facilities.

Highmark said Nov. 16 it would work with the system to grow its value-based reimbursement models for preventive care.

Kaleida operates five hospitals across the Buffalo and Niagara falls region and employs nearly 1600 affiliated physicians.
