The payer announced in July that it had entered an agreement to sell the business to the French company.

The businesses Centene sold to Vivalto Santé are:

  • Ribera Salud, a healthcare provider in Spain, which operates hospitals and provides other healthcare services.
  • Torrejón Salud, a public-private partnership in the Community of Madrid which is operated by Ribera Salud.
  • Pro Diagnostics Group (PDG), a subsidiary of Ribera Salud, which owns clinics providing radiology and other services in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Centene did not disclose the financial details of the completed transaction.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
