With the Payer Intelligence Layer, Cedar can integrate data from health insurers and providers to help create a single source of information for patients managing medical bills, according to a Nov. 1 news release from Cedar.

The platform is designed to allow patients to access insurance explanations of benefits, real-time deductible status and health benefit accounts in the same place where they view and resolve medical bills, according to the release.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
