Apple, Tivity Health partner on fitness solution for Aetna Medicare members

Aetna will offer a free subscription to Apple Fitness+ to its 3.2 million Medicare Advantage members starting next year.

Fitness solutions provider Tivity Health said Oct. 20 it has partnered with Apple to offer Fitness+ subscriptions to health plans through its senior program, SilverSneakers. Aetna will become the first payer to extend that offering.

SilverSneakers members will have access to more than 3,000 fitness programs that can be integrated with Apple products to provide real-time health metrics.
