MetroPlus Health opens New York City headquarters

MetroPlus Health has opened its new headquarters in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood.

MetroPlus is a municipally-owned nonprofit insurer that provides low or no-cost health coverage to more than 675,000 New York City residents, according to an Aug. 31 news release.

Beyond insurance, the new office will offer health screenings and illness prevention services, social services resources, life skills training and legal and immigration services. It will also be open to the public for meetings and conferences.

The office is located at 2104 Adam Clayton Powell Junior Boulevard in New York.
