Highmark has been a managed care provider in the state since 2015, and AmeriHealth Caritas has been a provider since 2018, according to a July 12 news release from the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services.

The two will be joined by Centene subsidiary Delaware First Health, which was awarded a managed care contract in the state for the first time.

Delaware’s Medicaid program serves about 300,000 members, according to the news release.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
