Cigna planning $386M renovation of Connecticut data center

Cigna is planning to renovate a 153,462-square-foot data center in Windsor, Conn., at a cost of $386 million, according to the Hartford Business Journal.

The Windsor Town Council unanimously endorsed a local tax agreement with the payer on June 20 that includes no reduction in local tax revenue generated by the project.

Cigna is planning to spend $100 million on software and $286 million on taxable personal property over the next five years.

The data center was built in 1982 and is located at 9 Griffin Road North in Windsor.
