The agreement comes after months of negotiations and will continue the hospital’s participation in the payer’s PPO/POS, Blue Essentials and Traditional Indemnity networks, with additional networks to come.

“Hill Country Memorial is pleased to have reached a new agreement with BCBS,” Hill Country CEO Jayne Pope told the Post. “We look forward to continuing to provide access to highly-quality healthcare services close to home for our BCBSTX-insured patients for years to come.”

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
