PCF Insurance acquires risk advising firm

Lehi, Utah-based brokerage firm PCF Insurance Services has acquired West Covina, Calif.-based Mike Haffar Insurance Services, an insurance and risk advising firm for providers.

The newly acquired company specializes in malpractice, general liability, property, workers’ compensation, management liability, professional liability, employment practices liability, earthquake and group health benefits, according to a June 9 news release.

PCF said the purchase is part of a renewed focus on its medical vertical and the partnership will strengthen and expand its capabilities and service offerings.
