The grant comes through the Florida Blue Foundation, which works with the state’s Blue Cross Blue Shield plan, and will go to UF Health’s Urban Health Alliance.

The center’s goals include developing practical training curriculum, tools and approaches that focus on people and the community, according to the foundation. The center also will seek to educate communities on respecting differences and similarities.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
