The insurer is leasing the site for 10 years, but it has not released when it will commence the move, according to New Jersey Business.
The jobs affected by the move include remote, flex and in-person positions.
“We continually assess our operations to ensure we are best meeting the needs of our business, customers and clients,” Cigna said in a statement to New Jersey Business. “As a result of our ongoing analysis, we are securing new office space in Morris Plains that offers the accessibility, flexibility, and conveniences that suits the needs of our employees.”
