“Beginning July 6 we are removing capacity limits in our offices, unless dictated by federal, state or local regulations,” a statement shared with Becker’s June 22 said. “Our employees are invited to the office, when and if they choose, but they also have the option to continue to work remotely for now.”

The payer will initiate a new model Sept. 7 in which employees who worked from the offices five days a week before the pandemic can return three days a week instead. Certain departments may become eligible for more flexible arrangements, but specifics will be determined by the company’s business leaders, according to the statement.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
