Under the agreement, WellCare policyholders can access Mission Health’s six hospitals, outpatient and surgery centers and various providers at in-network prices. Roughly 33,000 WellCare Medicare Part D members resided in North Carolina as of June 30.

Mission Health recently signed multiyear in-network agreements with Bloomfield, Conn.-based Cigna and Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna. All three contracts come as negotiations between Mission Health and North Carolina’s largest insurer, Durham-based Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, stall.
