Health insurer stock report: Week of Aug. 21-25

All five major commercial payers saw their stock prices rise last week.

Louisville, Ky.-based Humana saw its share price increase the most at 2.8 percent.

Here is how the five health insurers fared, as of Aug. 25. 

  • Aetna (Hartford, Conn.): $156.10 per share (up 1.1 percent)
  • Anthem (Indianapolis): $192.68 per share (up 0.8 percent)
  • Cigna (Bloomfield, Conn.): $179.30 per share (up 1.3 percent)
  • Humana (Louisville, Ky.): $253.00 per share (up 2.8 percent)
  • UnitedHealth Group (Minnetonka, Minn.): $194.36 per share (up 1.9 percent)
