CareSource will not offer individual marketplace or off-exchange health plans in Indiana for 2027 coverage.

Current coverage will remain active through the end of 2026, the insurer said May 15.

CareSource also offers individual coverage in Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Last year, the company exited the individual market in Kentucky, Michigan, and North Carolina.

Cigna is also leaving the Indiana marketplace for next year as part of its broader withdrawal from the individual market nationwide.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
