Elevance Health’s healthcare services subsidiary, Carelon, named Jeffrey Eaton as vice president and chief product officer, according to a May 21 LinkedIn post.

Mr. Eaton was previously general manager of Health OS and risk platforms, which he will continue to lead in his new role. Health OS bridges data sources to give more comprehensive overviews of members. Elevance leaders have said denials due to lack of information have been reduced by nearly 70% thanks to the platform.

“Healthcare is far too complex, fragmented and slow-moving,” Mr. Eaton said. “I’m excited to partner with the team to design and build products that simplify the experience, modernize how healthcare data flows and create meaningful impact at scale.”

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
