Arkansas BCBS posts $4.8M profit in 2025

Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield reported $4.8 million in net income in 2025, a major financial turnaround for the insurer after reporting a $226.2 million net loss in 2024.

President and CEO Curtis Barnett told Arkansas Business that total 2025 revenue was $2.96 billion, compared to $2.91 billion the year prior. Total membership stood at 568,000 at the end of the year.

In November, ABCBS signed a definitive agreement to form a strategic affiliation with Cambia Health Solutions, which is expected to be approved in the third quarter, according to the report.
