Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming President and CEO Diane Gore will retire after 40 years with the organization, the company said March 4.
Ms. Gore is the fifth CEO in the company’s 80-year history, first joining BCBSWY in her early career. Her tenure included navigating ACA market changes, the COVID-19 pandemic, and expanding access to care and behavioral health services.
The insurer’s board has named Kris Urbanek, currently executive vice president, as her successor, effective May 1. He has been with the company for 11 years, most recently overseeing marketing, sales, provider relations, payment integrity and the medical department.
