Columbus, Ohio-based Mount Carmel Health System, a member of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, is back in network with Humana, according to both the health system and the insurer.
Mount Carmel confirmed the agreement will span multiple years and reinstate access, effective Oct. 1. The Columbus Dispatch reported that Mount Carmel left Humana’s network at the start of 2025.
“We are thankful for everyone’s patience and support as we worked to reach a fair agreement with Humana,” a spokesperson for Mount Carmel said in a statement shared with Becker’s.
It will take roughly 60 days for Humana’s system to register Mount Carmel as in network.
“Our relationship with Mount Carmel Health System is important to delivering that commitment and supporting preventive care for Ohioans. We are pleased to add Mount Carmel to our Medicare Advantage network of trusted providers,” Humana said.
