North Carson City, Nev.-based Carson Tahoe Health and the Nevada Health Authority are extending the health system’s contract with UMR, a UnitedHealthcare subsidiary, according to a Nov. 11 post.
State of Nevada employees will stay in network with CTH through June 30, 2027. The release said negotiations took months.
“I am proud of the hard work by the team at the Nevada Health Authority in collaborating with staff at Carson Tahoe Health and UMR to support this win for state employees,” Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo said.
CTH has 20 locations across northern Nevada.
