Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont has named Beth-Ann Roberts its next president and CEO.
Ms. Roberts will assume the role on Jan. 10, 2026, according to a Sept. 30 news release from the company. She will join BCBS Vermont on Nov. 10 to ensure a smooth two-month transition with current president and CEO Don George, who will retire Jan. 9.
She currently serves as president of Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network, a clinically integrated network of physicians, clinicians, and hospitals dedicated to improving population health and delivering high-quality, cost-effective care, according to the release. The network is part of Cambridge, Mass.-based Beth Israel Lahey Health.
Ms. Roberts previously served as president of commercial business at Point32Health. In that role, she united commercial operations for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan following their merger.
